The Pacific Woodworkers Guild brings a warm and fuzzy feeling to Christmas by annually providing wooden toys for the Vancouver Christmas Bureau. Every September, they hold a workshop where members come up with ideas and work on prototypes of what may be mass-produced at their home workshops in November.
The Guild has a workshop in November where they gather toys that have been completed and finish those started at previous meetings. The members also bring in their own handmade wooden projects to try out for the first time while getting feedback from others on what could be improved or changed. Our group tries to make something for everyone, whether toddlers, teenagers, anything goes!
